Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, invites applications for a PRN Registered Nurse role. The RN will perform forensic examinations as a Sexual Assault Examiner and provide follow-up care, including potential testimony in court.

The position is on-call with most shifts at night, including weekends and holidays. Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing degree, RN license, BLS certification, and CA-SANE/SANE-A certification with at least 2 years of RN

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Field of Study: nursing.
• Must possess CA-SANE or SANE-A certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a RN.
• Hold a BLS certificate now or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
• Registered Nurse License.

Responsibilities

• As an RN Sexual Assault Examiner, you will perform forensic examinations for the collection and preservation of evidence for sexual assault cases.
• Provide follow up care and participate in the judicial process, including expert testimony and witnessing.
