Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center is seeking a Forensic Mental Health Clinician/Court Evaluator to bridge mental health treatment with civil legal processes. Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling required.
• Ph.D. in Social Work or Psychology considered.
• Washington Mental Health Counselor License required or Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License or Washington Psychologist License.
• Two years of experience in acute mental healthcare in inpatient, outpatient or legal settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical evaluations and apply DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment considerations.
• Prepare legal petitions for ITA hearings and testify as an expert witness when required.
• Navigate mental health laws and ITA regulations to inform treatment planning and collaboration with the treatment team.
