Qualifications

• Five years experience in field of specialty or subspecialty acceptable to the Medical Board of the Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Conduct court-ordered evaluations of criminal defendants.
• Provide teaching and supervision for clinicians in training.
• Participate in regular supervision with the Director of the Manhattan FPECC.
• Conduct CPL 730 and CPL 390 evaluations as needed.

Skills

Excellent diagnostic and evaluation skills

Excellent forensic report writing skills

Clinical experience with forensic mental health populations

Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively with other professional disciplines

Excellent organizational skills

Proficiency with word processing programs and spreadsheets

Fluent in spoken and written English

Education

Graduation from an approved medical school

Completion of approved residency or fellowship

Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
