Job summary

Lender Legal PLLC is seeking an attorney for a fully remote foreclosure role in Florida. The candidate will handle all stages of mortgage foreclosure litigation, including title review, pleadings, motions, discovery, and trials, serving lenders and investors statewide.

Ideal applicants have at least 1 year of Florida foreclosure experience, strong litigation skills, and Florida bar admission. Travel across Florida is expected.

Qualifications

• ABA accredited law school degree required.
• Florida bar license in good standing required.
• Minimum of 1 year Florida mortgage foreclosure experience.
• Willingness to travel across Florida (~10%).

Responsibilities

• First-chair contested nonjury trials in mortgage foreclosure matters.
• Take and defend depositions; perform targeted legal research.
• Handle title reviews, pleadings, motions, discovery, mediations and trials.

Foreclosure Attorney - Remote

Fully remote position

Lender Legal PLLC, a creditors' rights law firm with a primary practice area of residential mortgage foreclosure, is currently seeking an experienced attorney to join our Florida team. Attorneys in this position will have a minimum of 1 year of experience handling all aspects of mortgage foreclosure litigation in Florida, including initial title review, complaint drafting, motion practice, discovery, mediations, trials, and execution on judgments. They will first-chair contested nonjury trials, take and defend depositions, and assist with legal research and writing on appellate matters as needed. They will work with both large and small financial institutions and investors.

• Compensation commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Law degree from ABA accredited law school.
• License to practice law in the state of Florida and in good standing.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Florida mortgage foreclosure is required; real estate and/or title law experience is a plus.
• Have a good working knowledge of litigation and motion practice, generally.
• Willingness to travel as needed across the state of Florida (10%).
