Job summary

Lender Legal PLLC invites an experienced attorney to join our Florida team in a fully remote role focusing on residential mortgage foreclosure litigation. The attorney will handle all aspects of Florida foreclosure, from initial title review to judgment execution, including trial work and depositions.

Candidates should have a Florida law license in good standing and at least 1 year of foreclosure experience, with strong research and writing skills. Travel across Florida is required (10%).

Foreclosure Attorney - Remote

Fully remote position

Lender Legal PLLC, a creditors' rights law firm with a primary practice area of residential mortgage foreclosure, is currently seeking an experienced attorney to join our Florida team. Attorneys in this position will have a minimum of 1 year of experience handling all aspects of mortgage foreclosure litigation in Florida, including initial title review, complaint drafting, motion practice, discovery, mediations, trials, and execution on judgments. They will first-chair contested nonjury trials, take and defend depositions, and assist with legal research and writing on appellate matters as needed. They will work with both large and small financial institutions and investors.

Requirements

• Law degree from ABA accredited law school.
• License to practice law in the state of Florida and in good standing.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Florida mortgage foreclosure is required; real estate and/or title law experience is a plus.
• Have a good working knowledge of litigation and motion practice, generally.
• Willingness to travel as needed across the state of Florida (10%).
