Job summary

Lender Legal PLLC is seeking an experienced foreclosure attorney to join our Florida team in a fully remote capacity. The role requires handling mortgage foreclosure litigation from initial title review through judgment execution, including first-chairing contested nonjury trials and taking depositions.

Applicants must hold a JD from an ABA-accredited school and be licensed in Florida in good standing, with at least 1 year of Florida foreclosure experience.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of Florida mortgage foreclosure experience.
• Willingness to travel across Florida (approx. 10%).

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of mortgage foreclosure litigation in Florida, including title review, complaint drafting, and motions.

• Take and defend depositions and assist with legal research and writing on appellate matters as needed.
• Work with large and small financial institutions and investors.
• Support mediation, discovery, and execution on judgments.

Lender Legal PLLC, a creditors' rights law firm with a primary practice area of residential mortgage foreclosure, is currently seeking an experienced attorney to join our Florida team. Attorneys in this position will have a minimum of 1 year of experience handling all aspects of mortgage foreclosure litigation in Florida, including initial title review, complaint drafting, motion practice, discovery, mediations, trials, and execution on judgments. They will first-chair contested nonjury trials, take and defend depositions, and assist with legal research and writing on appellate matters as needed. They will work with both large and small financial institutions and investors.

• Compensation commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Law degree from ABA accredited law school.
• License to practice law in the state of Florida and in good standing.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Florida mortgage foreclosure is required; real estate and/or title law experience is a plus.
• Have a good working knowledge of litigation and motion practice, generally.
• Willingness to travel as needed across the state of Florida (10%).
