Job summary

Mattel, Inc. in Bentonville, AR, is seeking a Manager of Walmart Forecasting to lead forecasting and inventory planning across Walmart’s retail and eCommerce channels.

The role reports to the Director of Walmart Forecasting and collaborates with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Buying teams to develop data-driven forecasts and optimize execution. You will transform large data sets into insights that guide cross-functional decisions and drive performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of retailer-facing experience, with Walmart experience strongly preferred.
• 4+ years in inventory management, demand planning, forecasting, or a related supply chain discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting and analytical efforts to improve item-level POS projections, inventory planning, and order recommendations across assigned Walmart categories.
• Own category forecast submissions, balancing customer demand with open-to-buy constraints while maintaining forecast accuracy.
• Partner cross-functionally to enhance order execution and coordination between Mattel and Walmart.
• Drive planning for Walmart.com across brands by optimizing inventory and in-stock performance.
• Oversee execution of Mattel’s Direct Import business from Asia with Customer Service collaboration.
• Present demand forecasts and insights during S&OP and consensus planning meetings.
• Collaborate with Walmart Buyers and Replenishment Managers presenting trends and strategic recommendations.
• Transform large data sets into actionable insights to influence planning and efficiency.
