Job summary

Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver the famous shoe-shopping experience. You’ll help customers find the perfect fit, maintain a welcoming store environment, and contribute to a positive team dynamic in a fast-paced retail setting.

You’ll stay informed about trends, deliver engaging customer experiences, and represent our brands with integrity while supporting store goals and delivering friendly, reliable service every day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required or equivalent.
• Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within the store.
• Strong communication with store associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with the Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Solid working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and engage customers to drive sales.
• Maintain in-store organization, pricing, shipments, fulfillment and inventory.
• Support the store team in achieving goals and delivering a great customer experience.
• Uphold company policies and procedures with integrity.
• Assist with training and development of teammates when needed.
• Recommend products to customers to ensure the right fit and satisfaction.
