Job summary

Famous Footwear in the United States is seeking a Sales Associate who loves shoes and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll create a welcoming store environment, stay informed on trends, and share knowledge to help customers find the perfect fit and build loyalty to our brands.

You’ll work as part of a team, drive store performance, and uphold integrity and inclusivity while providing friendly, energetic service that leaves customers saying, “I’ll take it.”

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within store.
• Ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Must exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily store operations: pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory.
• Represent Famous culture with stellar customer engagement and top-notch experiences.
• Review store performance and drive sales with clear communication to the team.
• Uphold integrity and adhere to company policies; seek feedback.
• Foster diversity and inclusivity; support training and development.
• Assist customers in finding the right shoe and ensuring a great fit.
