Job summary

Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Associate who loves shoes and delivering exceptional in-store experiences. You’ll help customers find the perfect fit, keep the store organized, and contribute to a welcoming culture that makes shoppers say, “I’ll take it.”

You’ll collaborate with the team, stay informed about trends, and share knowledge to drive sales while upholding our standards and providing the Famous Feeling every day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within store.
• Demonstrates an ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Must exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ace Retail Operations: ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in.
• Be a Famous Culture Influencer: embody Famous culture with pride and deliver stellar customer engagement.
• Elevate to Your Goal-Crushing Era: review store performance and drive sales with urgency to achieve goals.
• Act with Integrity: adhere to company policies and seek feedback for improvement.
