Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver foot and lower-extremity care across Wisconsin long-term care facilities. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy within state APRN rules and PPG standards, with travel between sites and EMR documentation on an iPad.

Qualifications include an NP degree, national certification, WI licensure eligibility, and at least 2 years of post-graduate NP experience. Flexible, part-time schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited NP program.
• Current national NP certification (AANP/ANCC).
• Active RN license and ability to obtain WI RN/APRN licensure.
• Minimum 2 years NP/ARN experience.
• Meet Wisconsin APRN Independent Practice requirements.
• Willingness to complete WI APRN licensing requirements.
• Ability to travel between long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide foot and lower-extremity care in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage common foot conditions.
• Provide diabetic foot care, wound prevention, mobility education.
• Coordinate follow-up with facility staff and other providers.
• Support Medicare quality programs and clinical initiatives.
• Document in NextGen EMR; use company iPad for records.
• Practice autonomously per WI APRN rules and PPG standards.
