Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide foot and lower-extremity focused care in Wisconsin long-term care facilities. Flexible scheduling accommodates part-time or full-time roles with autonomous practice and strong clinical support.

Expect competitive, production-based compensation, with comprehensive scheduling, credentialing, and travel support. Must meet WI APRN independent practice requirements and maintain Wisconsin licensure.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral NP degree from an accredited program.
• Current national NP certification (AANP or ANCC).
• Active RN license and WI RN/APRN licensure eligibility.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate NP/APRN clinical experience.
• Ability to meet WI APRN Independent Practice requirements.
• Willingness to complete WI jurisprudence examination.
• Ability to travel between assigned long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide foot and lower-extremity focused care within scope of practice in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage common foot and lower-extremity conditions.
• Deliver diabetic foot and preventive care, wound prevention, and mobility education.
• Identify changes in condition and coordinate appropriate follow-up.
• Collaborate with facility nursing staff and other clinicians for patient-centered care.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs and clinical initiatives.
• Complete timely clinical documentation in NextGen EMR on company iPad.
• Practice autonomously per Wisconsin APRN requirements and PPG standards.

Education

Master's or doctoral NP program

National NP certification (AANP/ANCC)

Wisconsin RN/APRN licensure

2+ years post-graduate NP/APRN experience

Wisconsin Independent APRN Practice (Board of Nursing)

Wisconsin APRN jurisprudence requirements
