Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver podiatric-focused care across long-term care facilities. The role supports mobility, quality of life, and patient-centered care in nursing homes and senior living communities.

You will diagnose and treat foot conditions, provide diabetic foot care, and collaborate with facility staff. A Master’s NP degree and active RN license with NP certification are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in NP is required.
• RN license + NP certification (ANCC or AANP) required.
• 2–5 years podiatry post-training experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver diabetic foot care, wound prevention, and mobility education.
• Collaborate with facility staff for coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top outcomes.
• Document visits in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
