Preferred Podiatry Group is hiring an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide foot and lower-extremity focused care across Wisconsin long-term care facilities.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current national Nurse Practitioner certification (AANP/ANCC).
• Active RN license and ability to obtain Wisconsin RN/APRN licensure.
• Minimum 2 years NP/APRN clinical practice.
• Must meet Wisconsin Independent APRN Practice requirements.
• Documentation of qualifying clinical hours.
• Wisconsin APRN licensing requirements including jurisprudence exam.
• Current BLS certification.
• Willingness to travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide foot and lower-extremity focused care in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage foot and LE conditions.
• Provide diabetic foot care, preventative care, wound prevention, and mobility education.
• Coordinate follow-up with facility nursing staff and healthcare professionals.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs and clinical initiatives.
• Complete clinical documentation in NextGen EMR on company-issued iPad.
• Practice autonomously per Wisconsin APRN requirements and PPG standards.
