Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide foot and lower-extremity care in Wisconsin's long-term care and senior living communities. You’ll diagnose conditions, perform diabetic foot care, and collaborate with facility staff to improve mobility and quality of life while documenting in NextGen EMR on an iPad.

The role offers flexible scheduling with either part-time or full-time options and requires Wisconsin licensure and NP certification with strong independent

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral NP degree from an accredited program.
• Active NP certification (AANP/ANCC) and Wisconsin RN/APRN licensure.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate NP/APR N clinical practice experience.
• Must meet Wisconsin Independent APRN Practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide foot and lower-extremity care in long-term care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage foot-related conditions.
• Deliver diabetic foot care, wound prevention, and mobility education.
• Coordinate follow-up with facility staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Complete clinical documentation in NextGen EMR using a company-issued iPad.
• Practice autonomously per Wisconsin APRN requirements.
