Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide foot and lower-extremity care across Wisconsin long-term and senior care facilities. You’ll diagnose, treat, and educate on mobility, diabetic foot care, and preventive health while maintaining autonomy within Wisconsin APRN rules.

The role offers flexible scheduling with compensation based on revenue, plus support for scheduling, supplies, and credentialing, and travel/mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited NP program
• National NP certification through AANP or ANCC
• Active RN license and WI RN/APRN licensure
• Minimum 2 years post-grad NP/APRn clinical practice
• Ability to meet Wisconsin Board of Nursing Independent APRN Practice requirements
• Willingness to complete jurisprudence exam for WI APRN
• Ability to travel between assigned long-term care facilities
• Independent practice autonomy per Wisconsin law

Responsibilities

• Provide foot and lower-extremity focused care in long-term and senior care facilities
• Assess, diagnose, and manage foot/lower-extremity conditions
• Provide diabetic foot care, preventive care, wound prevention, mobility education
• Identify condition changes and coordinate follow-up care
• Collaborate with facility staff and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
• Participate in Medicare quality programs and clinical initiatives
• Complete timely clinical documentation in NextGen EMR on company iPad
• Practice autonomously per Wisconsin APRN requirements and PPG standards
