Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a Field-based Intern in Ortho Sales to gain hands-on experience with our latest medical technology. You will shadow sales and operations teams, develop account lists, and learn selling processes while supporting kit delivery and warehouse tasks.

You will need to be enrolled in a related degree program after summer, with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently completing a Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent; must plan to enroll in a degree-seeking program after summer.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.
• Must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills; able to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to gain insight into branch operations.
• Prepare a project segment that develops a target account list or marketing strategy.
• Learn selling skills, processes, and instrument use techniques with coaching from team members.
• Shadow and assist with delivery of kits to and from accounts.
• Assist warehouse team in assembling and breaking down instrument kits for surgeries.
• Interact with various teams concerning products.
• Assist Sales and Field Operations on special projects.
