Job summary

Maverik is seeking a Food Service Manager to lead our store team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment in Flagstaff. The role requires a proactive leader who can manage daily operations, train team members, and ensure safe, high-quality food service.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of foodservice management experience, be 21 or older, and hold a current ServeSafe certification or be willing to obtain one.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and oversee all tasks of store team members.

• Perform inspections of facilities/equipment in coordination with Store Director and third parties.

About the Job:

• Lead by Example: Be a team player by fulling & overseeing all tasks and duties required of Team Members.

• Facility Maintenance:Ensure proper & safe food preparation while maintaining clean self-serving options (food & drink dispensers).

Physical Requirements

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
