Job summary

Maverik, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Manager in Reno, NV. Starting pay ranges from $18.50 to $20.50 per hour, with opportunities for career growth in our 24/7 stores.

You will lead by example, train and mentor team members, and ensure safe food preparation and clean service areas. Qualifications include 2+ years in foodservice management, ServeSafe certification (or willingness to obtain), and strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Flexible schedule due to 24/7 store operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

About The Job

• Lead by Example: Be a team player by fulling & overseeing all tasks and duties required of Team Members.
• Team Development:Assist with the training, mentoring, & supervision of store team members.
• Facility Maintenance:Ensure proper & safe food preparation while maintaining clean self-serving options (food & drink dispensers).
• Operational Excellence:Complete with the inspection of facilities/equipment with the Store Director as well as third-party inspections.

Physical Requirements

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
