Maverik, Inc. is hiring a Food Service Manager in Coralville, IA. Starting pay is $17.95/hr to $19.95/hr with growth opportunities.

The role requires 21+ to apply, a flexible schedule for a 24/7 store, and strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of foodservice management experience and is ServeSafe certified or willing to obtain certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to apply.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays in a 24/7 store environment.
• Excellent customer service through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Remain calm and collected under pressure while delivering outstanding service.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to recognize and solve issues quickly.
• 2+ years of foodservice management experience (preferred).
• Currently certified or willing to obtain ServeSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example by overseeing all tasks and duties required of Team Members.
• Assist with training, mentoring, and supervision of store team members.
• Ensure proper and safe food preparation while maintaining clean self‑serving areas (food & drink dispensers).
• Complete inspections of facilities/equipment with the Store Director and third-party inspectors to uphold standards.

Physical Requirements
