Job summary

Maverik is seeking a Food Service Manager to lead daily operations in our 24/7 stores. Starting pay ranges from $26.00 to $28.00 per hour, with opportunities for career growth.

The role requires 21+ age and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, along with strong customer service leadership. You will train and supervise team members, maintain safe food handling, and ensure clean self-serve options, while coordinating with leadership and completing inspections.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to apply.
• 2+ years of foodservice management experience (preferred).
• ServeSafe Certification required or willing to obtain.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, overseeing all tasks and duties of Team Members.
• Assist with training, mentoring, and supervision of store team members.
• Ensure safe food preparation and maintain clean self-serve options (food & drink dispensers).
• Complete facility/equipment inspections with Store Director and third-party inspectors.

Physical Requirements

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
