Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore is seeking a Food & Nutrition Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day functions of the Main Kitchen under limited supervision, directing staff to maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities include opening/closing daily patient service reports, conducting audits, ensuring teamwork, training new employees, and representing the department professionally through dress code and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years.
• Education: High School / GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures daily operation of the Food and Nutrition Department Main Kitchen.
• Completes opening and closing Daily Patient Services Report.
• Conducts tray accuracy audits, tray passer audits, test trays, and meal rounds.
• Trains new employees and participates in department meetings.
• Maintains professional image, dress code, and a safe work environment.
