Job summary

Hebrew SeniorLife is seeking a Nutrition Assistant to serve as the liaison between patients and the kitchen. You will assist with menu selections, ensure diets are accurately prepared, and support tray service and delivery on a busy hospital-style unit.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; nutrition coursework preferred.
  • Experience in hospital or foodservice settings with inventory knowledge is a plus.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic diets and kosher cuisine is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with menu selections and tray preparation.
  • Deliver meals and monitor tray accuracy to diet tickets.
  • Train staff on culinary requirements and Diets per DH standards.
  • Maintain sanitation, inventory, and cost-control measures.
