Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee the preparation and service of nutritious meals, ensuring adherence to federal and state guidelines. You will manage staff, stock and inventory, plan weekly menus, and maintain sanitary kitchen conditions in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating with upper management, evaluating programs, and performing related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Kitchen and staff management.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College degree preferred.
• Experience in food services or relevant area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure preparation and service of a nutritious, well-balanced meal according to guidelines.
• Stock essential food items and plan weekly menus.
• Manage inventory; order and receive supplies within budget.
• Clean kitchen and equipment to ensure sanitary conditions.
• Review and evaluate existing programs, services, policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with upper management as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
