Job summary

Yona is seeking a Manager in Training for Food Services to join the dietary team in a long-term care setting. The MIT will assist with organizing, planning, directing, and supervising functions within the dietary department to provide quality meals and nutrition services for residents.

The role involves learning from the Food Services Director, training staff, and helping maintain standards, schedules, and records while promoting a positive resident dining experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality.
• Passion for quality dining and resident satisfaction.
• ServSafe Manager or CDM/CFPP credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food Services Director in leading quality dining programs for residents.
• Ensure dining programs meet federal, state, and local standards.
• Train staff in procedures and equipment use.
• Schedule staff and maintain proper staffing levels.
• Maintain records: inventory, compliance, budgets, personnel.
