Job summary

Yona Eagle is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) for Food Services to join our team in a long-term care facility. The MIT will learn to organize, plan, direct, control, and supervise dietary operations ensuring quality dining experiences for residents.

Responsibilities include assisting the Food Services Director, training staff, maintaining records, ensuring compliance with standards, and promoting resident satisfaction while managing staffing and costs.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality required.
• ServSafe Certification for Managers preferred.
• Certified Dietary Manager/Certified Food Protection Professional (CDM/CFPP) credentials recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food Services Director with leading quality dining programs for residents.
• Train workers in procedures and operation of equipment.
• Plan staffing to ensure adequate services and maintain proper records.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Promote resident satisfaction and maintain a clean, safe dining environment.
