Yona Eagle is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) for Food Services in a long-term care setting. You will support the Food Services Director in planning, directing, and supervising dining programs to enhance resident meal experiences, while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree or higher in food service management or hospitality.
• ServSafe Manager certification required.
• CDM/CFPP credential preferred.
• Two years of long-term care supervision experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows-based office software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Food Services Director in leading dining programs.
• Ensure dining programs meet federal, state, and local standards.
• Train workers in procedures and equipment operation.
• Supervise and evaluate department staff.
• Plan staffing schedules to maintain adequate service levels.
• Maintain records including inventory, compliance, income/expense, and personnel.
• Manage a cost-effective program within budget.
• Promote resident satisfaction and coordinate with departments.
