Yona in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) for Food Services to develop and supervise dining programs in a long-term care setting. You will assist with planning, directing, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards while training staff to deliver high-quality meals and outstanding resident service.

Formación

• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality.
• Food service supervisory experience; at least two years in long term care preferred.
• ServSafe Certification for Managers.
• CDM/CFPP certification as a credentialing requirement.
• Skilled in motivating and supervising staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet goals.
• Public speaking skills.
• Proficient in Windows Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Food Services Director in leading dining programs that enhance residents' meals.
• Work with the Director to meet federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Train workers in procedures and equipment operation.
• Supervise and evaluate the quality of work by department staff.
• Plan staffing schedules to ensure adequate services and maintain proper staffing levels.
• Maintain records including inventory, compliance, income/expense, and personnel files.
• Manage a cost-effective program within budget.
• Maintain excellent relations with residents, visitors and other departments.
• Participate in facility meetings and committees.
• Follow company policies and promote professional growth of the team.
• Conduct quality assurance rounds and inspections for current controls.
• Report monthly initiatives, goals, and accomplishments.
• Promote and monitor resident satisfaction.
• Ensure the food service operation is clean, safe, and sanitary.
