Yona invites a Manager in Training for Food Services to join our team in Ohio. This MIT will assist with organizing, planning, directing, and supervising the dietary department that serves residents in a long-term care facility.

You will mentor staff, ensure compliance with state and federal standards, and help drive quality dining programs while maintaining cost-effective operations. We value compassion, teamwork, and a commitment to resident well-being.

Formación

• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality
• Supervisory experience in food service
• ServSafe Manager and CDM/CFPP credentials preferred
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple shifts and staff schedules
• Proficient with Windows-based office software

Responsabilidades

• Assist Food Services Director in leading dining programs to improve resident experience
• Ensure programs meet federal/state standards and regulations
• Train staff on procedures and equipment operation
• Supervise and evaluate department staff
• Plan staffing schedules to ensure adequate service
• Maintain records for inventory, compliance, and finances
• Manage cost-effective program to meet budget
• Foster positive relations with residents and staff
• Participate in facility meetings and committees
• Support delivery of professional growth for the team
• Conduct quality assurance rounds and report progress
