Yona Solutions is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) for Food Services to join our team in Gainesville, Florida. The MIT will learn to organize, plan, direct, and supervise the dietary department within a long-term care facility, supporting residents, visitors, and coworkers with warm hospitality.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Food Services Director to ensure compliance, quality dining programs, staff development, and cost-effective operations while promoting resident satisfaction

Qualifications

• Requires food service supervisory experience; long term care preferred.
• ServSafe Certification for Managers, National Restaurant Association.
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM/CFPP) credentials preferred.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Food Services Director with leading quality dining programs that enhance the meal experience for residents.
• Ensure dining programs meet federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Train workers in procedures and equipment operation and maintenance.
• Supervise and evaluate the quality of work completed by department employees.
• Plan staffing schedules to maintain adequate services and staffing levels.
• Maintain required records including inventory, compliance, income/expense, and personnel records.
• Manage a cost‑effective program to budget.
• Maintain excellent relations with residents, visitors, and community departments.
• Participate in facility meetings and committees.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures.
• Promote professional growth of the department team.
• Conduct quality assurance rounds and inspections; ensure sustainable quality controls.
• Report monthly initiatives, goals, and accomplishments.
• Promote and monitor resident satisfaction.
• Ensure food service operation is clean, safe, and sanitary.
