Saint Luke’s North Hospital is seeking a food service worker to provide excellent patient and family service, with duties including food preparation, delivery, and restocking in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

Less than 1 year experience in food service or customer service.
Food Handler Certification required by KCMO Health Dept.
Willingness to work weekends and variable shifts.

Responsabilités

Handle, prepare and serve meals according to menu and sanitation rules.
Prepare cafeteria food service and deliver to customers.
Restock cafeteria supplies and maintain cleanliness of areas, dishes and equipment.
Maintain inventory, labeling and safe food handling practices.
Assist with cashier and dishwasher duties as needed.

Job Description

Saint Luke's North Hospital is currently looking for a food service worker that will be responsible for quickly and efficiently providing excellent customer service to our patients and their families. We offer a competitive pay and benefits package as well as tuition and continuing education assistance – so this can be a great position whether you are in school or have an extensive customer service or food service background!

Shifts

Weekends are required 11am-7:30pm and at least 2 other 4 hour shifts(3p-7:30p)

Responsibilities

Handling, preparing and serving food in accordance with written menu and sanitation regulations.
Preparing of cafeteria food service and delivery of food to customers.
Restocking of cafeteria supplies
Maintaining sanitation of work areas dishes and equipment.
Maintaining inventory control, product rotation, labeling and safe food handling practices to assure continued availability to customers.
Assisting in other Cashier and Dishwasher responsibilities as necessary.
