Job summary

Saint Luke’s East in Lee's Summit is seeking a full-time food service worker to provide warm, efficient service to patients and families. You’ll handle, prepare, and deliver meals following menu and sanitation standards, and support the nutrition team in delivering quality care.

The role runs evenings from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM with weekends required; less than 1 year of experience is noted, and a Food Handlers Permit is required.

Responsibilities

• Handling, preparing, and serving food in accordance with written menu and sanitation regulations.
• Preparing cafeteria food service and delivery of food to customers.
• Restocking of cafeteria supplies.
• Maintaining sanitation of work areas, dishes and equipment.
• Maintaining inventory control, product rotation, labeling, and safe food handling practices to assure continued availability to customers.
• Assisting in other Cashier and Dishwasher responsibilities as necessary.

The Opportunity :

Saint Luke’s East in Lee's Summit is currently looking for a full time food service worker to quickly and efficiently provide excellent customer service to our patients and their families. As a member of our nutrition team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the nutrition they need for their healing. The Shift

• 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekends required

The Work

• Handling, preparing, and serving food in accordance with written menu and sanitation regulations.
