Job summary

The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a Food Service Worker for the Robert E. Spiller Bowling Green Veterans Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Responsibilities include assisting with meal preparation, serving meals, and maintaining sanitary kitchen areas to support Kentucky’s Veterans with compassionate care. This position offers overtime eligibility, locality premium of $4.97 per hour, with additional shift premiums for 2nd/3rd shift and weekends.

Description

The Robert E. Spiller Bowling Green Veterans Center is a 60-bed long term care facility located in beautifulBowling Green, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preservingdignity and providing compassionate care.

This job classification is approved for the following shift premiums, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(2), which are applied to the base salary:

• Second and Third shift: 15%
• Weekend and Holidays: 25%
