The Thomson-Hood Veterans Center is a skilled nursing Facility that cares for the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Veterans. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic Housekeeper who possesses the desire to care for Kentucky’s Veterans.

Skills and expectations for this position include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a clean, safe, orderly, comfortable, sanitary attractive environment.
• Maintain records of maintenance and cleaning of assigned areas and supply usage.
• Assist in the Laundry department as needed.

This position, in the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center Housekeeping Services Department, Jessamine County has an approved Locality Premium of $8.89 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).

Working Conditions: May risk exposure to chemicals associated with cleaning supplies or burns in operation of laundry machinery.

Probationary Period: This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
