Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Food Service Supervisor for the first shift to oversee food service associates and ensure proper assembly, service, sanitation, and safe use of resources in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, completing required reports, coordinating with Nursing on patient meals, and upholding infection control standards and sanitation procedures throughout the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of food service management experience.
• Food handler card or ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors employee performance and provides leadership and guidance to improve performance and behavior.
• Completes daily/weekly/monthly reports per corporate policies and deadlines.
• Communicates patient-related concerns to appropriate personnel and coordinates with Nursing to meet patients' food needs.
• Demonstrates knowledge of infection control and sanitation, including temperature checks, hand washing, gloves, and labeling of food.
