Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Supervisor Food Services/Chef to lead kitchen operations within our hospital setting. You will direct daily food production and service, ensuring adherence to Joint Commission, HACCP, AHCA, and applicable regulations.

The role emphasizes team leadership, quality, safety, and collaboration with the Operations Manager/Director to set operating standards and drive improvements. Minimum 5 years in culinary/kitchen management in healthcare preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Safety Manager Certification within 90 days of job entry.
• Basic knowledge of dietetics.
• Experience supervising 12+ staff members.
• 3–5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management in healthcare or catering.
• EOE, including disability/vets.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of food production and service across the hospital.
• Motivate and maintain an engaged team while upholding quality and safety standards.
• Implement quality improvements and communicate them to the team.
