Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Prior institutional food service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmate labor and team members in kitchen during food prep and service.
• Prepare and assist in food preparation according to menu, recipes and instructions.
• Ensure proper food storage and sanitary handling.
• Serve meals per schedule and department policies.
• Train other food service workers.
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment.
• Follow safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Stand for extended periods and lift as required.
