The primary responsibility is to manage the daily operations of the food service establishment. This includes overseeing the preparation of meals, ensuring food safety regulations are adhered to, and managing the food service staff. The supervisor must complete a food service training that provides an overview of food service in adult care homes, including the preparation of therapeutic diets, established by the Department or an equivalent that contains at least the same information as required in the training approved by the Department within 30 days of hire.
