Reports to: North America Service Manager
Job Summary:
As a Field Service Supervisor, you will be working remotely from the company, and responsible for installing and providing technical support for HIS designed and built integrated solutions. You will supervise and work alongside a small team installing and commissioning HIS innovative solutions, delivering best-in-class customer service. You will be required to integrate third party pumps and products into our equipment. You will be responsible for reviewing and coordinating project schedules, Keeping the customer and HIS informed of project status, customer concerns and actions planed or taken. Fielding customer concerns to better understand customers’ needs, feeding that information back to account and Service management to further enhance the customer and HIS experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Main POC for customers HIS needs for that site with focus on tool installation and exploring new service and manufacturing growth opportunities
- Follow inspection criteria and work instructions to facilitate installation and commissioning of our solutions at the customer’s facility
- Maintain Customer and HIS safety protocols of self and team members
- Development and Train team to ensure quality outcome of installations
- Document installation milestones of HIS equipment and verify operation of customers equipment
- Audit shipments, communicate and track all shortages or modifications needed
- Install third party components onto HIS integrated systems platform
- Collaborate with team members to ensure customer deadlines are met
- Ensuring team has the right tools and processes in place to effectively meet customer milestones
- Forecasting headcount to meet necessary hours required to maintain customer schedule
- Coordinate customer schedule with teams’ availability
- Collaborate with Customer, Vendors and Engineering groups to coordinate installation activities, service needs, advanced troubleshooting and equipment improvement requests
- Clear and concise communication on customer requests, tasks completed, and changes needed
- Completion of other tasks as assigned by supervisors and management
- Escalate when help is needed with headcount or technical support
- Timecard approvals and basic supervisory administrative functions: timecards, hiring, etc.
Job Requirements/Skills:
- Self-motivated, someone that can work independently, take the initiative, and achieve goals without constant supervision
- Always friendly and willing to support the customer with any assistance needed
- Always be available to address any HIS Innovations Group, related issues with the Customer
- Understand your role as the HIS representative to the customer, providing outstanding customer service
- Ability to understand your audience and deliver communications with the appropriate technical details
- Documenting and reporting customer concerns to the appropriate HIS Team to cultivate positive internal collaboration between internal teams
- Communicate with FS team on all assigned tasks, keeping documentation current and accurate
- Appropriate issue escalation, keeping all stakeholders informed
- Provide detailed problem description, including desired operation and deviations observed along with possible solutions to the problem
- Achieving advanced technical understanding of our products and services
- Overtime and travel may be required as needed
- Willing to onboard more than current scope required of customer as account grows
Skills Integral to the Job:
- Demonstrated ability to understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Demonstrated ability to lead and direct onsite activities
- Electrical troubleshooting ability with the appropriate tools
- Demonstrated ability to follow written instructions accurately and consistently
- Attention to detail with the ability to efficiently manage several projects at one time
- Ability to manage customer expectations with a service-oriented approach promoting customer loyalty and timely task completion.
- Collaboration skills essential for working with customer and HIS engineering teams
- A reputation for taking initiative, setting goals, and getting things done
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal form
- The ability to translate customer questions and concerns into actionable items
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Engineering Technician Diploma/Certificate or High School Diploma or equivalent required
- AS degree in technical discipline, or relevant military or practical experience preferred
- Experience with the installation of Mechanical systems, Electrical components, reading layout drawings
- Experience with Vacuum pumps, Frames, Cleanroom equipment, Tools, and procedures a plus
- Experienced onsite Customer Service in the Semiconductor Industry
- English language fluency (written and verbal)
Physical Requirements:
- Able to climb, stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds / 22.6 KG at times
- Able to carry 30 pounds, tools and components
