Working alongside a manager, you will oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and assist where needed. Starting Pay: $16/hour

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain work schedules; prepare production packets (production sheets and recipes).
2. Direct daily operations.
3. Ensure food safety and quality according to policies, procedures, and department standards.
4. Store food items safely, organized, and hazard-free.
5. Manage serving schedules; ensure food is served per menu specifications following policies and procedures.
6. Maintain a sanitary environment complying with health and safety codes.
7. Keep accurate inventory records weekly.
8. Prepare orders as needed for proper production levels.
9. Supervise, evaluate, and counsel employees; promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
10. Ensure a safe working environment.
11. Train and mentor food service staff.
12. Maintain maintenance logs for equipment.
13. Complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions when necessary.
14. Perform preventative maintenance checks.
15. Recommend equipment replacements to meet facility needs.
16. Multitask proficiently.
17. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager.
18. Fill in for absent staff when necessary.
19. Coordinate and ensure timely preparation and delivery of catering events.
20. Work occasional night and weekend catering events.
21. Attend staff meetings.
22. Maintain communication with staff via various channels.
23. Perform cashier duties as needed.
24. Promote positive public relations.
