Time to step up your career! We are hiring full-time Food Service Supervisors at Norton Correctional Facility. Under the supervision of a manager, you will oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and assist where needed. We look forward to supporting your growth and passion.

Starting Pay: $16/hour

Job Responsibilities

1. Produce and maintain work schedules, prepare production packets (sheets and recipes).
2. Direct daily activities.
3. Maintain food safety and quality according to policies and procedures.
4. Ensure safe and organized storage of food items.
5. Maintain serving schedules and ensure food is served per menu specifications following policies.
6. Ensure a sanitary environment complying with health and safety codes.
7. Maintain accurate inventory weekly.
8. Prepare orders as needed for production accuracy.
9. Supervise, evaluate, counsel, and promote employee growth and teamwork.
10. Maintain a safe working environment.
11. Train and mentor food service workers.
12. Keep logs for equipment maintenance and food safety/temperature logs.
13. Perform preventive maintenance and recommend equipment replacements.
14. Multitask efficiently.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager.
16. Fill in for absent employees as needed.
17. Manage catering events, ensuring timely preparation and delivery.
18. Work occasional night and weekend events.
19. Attend staff meetings and communicate effectively with staff.
20. Perform cashier duties if necessary.
21. Promote good public relations.
