Job summary

Guest Services Inc. is seeking an Assistant Food Service Manager to help oversee unit operations, focusing on food, beverage, equipment and quality initiatives.

You will lead a team to maintain high service standards, assist the General Manager, and ensure staff performance meets expectations. You will participate in forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, and daily reporting, while handling customer inquiries and maintaining a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Business Degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of related management experience required.
• Food Safety certification a plus.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of unit operations and floor management, including planning, scheduling and staffing.
• Recruit, supervise, train and evaluate unit staff.
• Maintain accounting records, daily reporting, and cash control.
• Assist in managing P&L statements.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Ensure safe, clean, and compliant facility operations.
• Open/close the unit as required.
