Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Food Service Supervisor for Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Food and Nutrition in Winston-Salem. You will direct daily operations, ensure resources and safety, and lead staff toward high service standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED plus two years supervisory experience. Serv Safe certification is required; weekend schedules are possible and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• Serv Safe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of food service to ensure equipment, inventory and resources are available.
• Assist cash controls and payroll records maintenance (time sheets, schedules).
• Identify problems and communicate status and solutions to leadership.
• Supervise daily activities, delegating, prioritizing and monitoring standards.
• Provide constructive feedback to motivate and coach staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and hospital policies.
• Maintain a safe work environment with safety training and equipment upkeep.
• Establish operating standards and communicate quality improvements.
• Develop employee relationships and satisfaction across departments.
• Execute service quality with the highest delivery standards.
• Support workplace diversity initiatives.
