• High School diploma or GED; two years in food service in a medical setting preferred.
• Fluent in English with basic math and computer skills; follow detailed instructions.
• Knowledge of food service equipment, preparation, service and safety.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently; take initiative to solve problems.
• Ability to adjust to department needs and maintain high service standards.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate with patients, visitors, hospital staff and managers.

Aufgaben

• Contributes to patient and customer satisfaction by meeting high service and quality standards.
• Maintain sanitation ratings and comply with NSF and HACCP standards.
• Monitor product quality, recipe adherence and station timelines.
• Follow safety and sanitation rules to keep a safe work environment.
• Complete required in-service, compliance, HIPAA, and OSHA trainings.
• Support other Food and Nutrition Services departments as needed by management.
• Minimize waste and control costs; manage supplies and portion control.
• Act as Team Leader in absence and resolve issues with staff and customers.
