Job summary

Break Time convenience stores, operated by MFA Petroleum Company in Missouri, seek an energetic Food Service Manager to lead day-to-day food service operations, drive sales, control costs, ensure food safety, and deliver excellent customer service across shifts.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with vendors, manage inventory, schedule labor within the budget, and train teammates on prep, safety, and procedures to meet company standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Leads and trains a team effectively.
• Food handler’s card or equivalent certifications required or obtainable.
• ServeSafe certification or willing to complete course.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with fast, courteous service.
• Promote sales through suggestive selling techniques.
• Oversee food preparation following recipes and safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of the store and prep areas.
• Supervise staff, manage labor schedules and budgets.
• Communicate with management, vendors, and teammates clearly.
• Train new employees and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
