Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company is seeking a Food Service Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Break Time food service programs. You will drive profitability, control expenses, manage inventory, labor, and deliver exceptional customer service across shifts.

You will lead a team, ensure compliance with food safety standards, provide training, and collaborate with store management. This role requires strong leadership and a commitment to quality service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Flexible availability including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to lead a team and work independently.
• Willingness to obtain Food Handler’s Card or equivalent certifications.
• ServeSafe certification or ability to complete course and pass test.
• Must perform duties with accuracy and minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to handle inventory in cold environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with fast, friendly service and handle complaints.
• Promote sales using suggestive selling techniques.
• Prepare food according to guidelines and maintain inventory.
• Ensure cleanliness and food safety across all service areas.
• Train and supervise staff to execute food service programs within budget.
• Coordinate with management on policies, training, and performance issues.
• Maintain accurate shift reports and assist with vendor relations.
• Use POS systems and manage cash handling and records.
