Job summary

CrossAmerica Partners is hiring a Food Service Manager in Training to develop the skills and leadership needed to manage food service operations in a convenience-store setting. You will gain hands-on experience in food preparation, staff supervision, inventory control, and customer service under the guidance of an experienced Food Service Manager.

This role offers structured development, opportunities for advancement in food service management, and exposure to store operations across a retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality, business, or culinary arts is a plus.
• Prior experience in food service, kitchen operations, or customer service is preferred. Previous supervisory or leadership experience is required.
• Interest in pursuing a career in food service management with a willingness to grow and develop skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid State Drivers License Required

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program that focuses on leadership, customer service, food safety, inventory management, and operational procedures.
• Assist in supervising and guiding kitchen staff, providing directions on food preparation, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
• Learn to manage day-to-day food service operations, including kitchen workflows, staff scheduling, food ordering, and product quality control.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and quality.
