Job summary

Maschio's Food Services, Inc. in Highlands, NJ is seeking a Food Service Manager for a school program. The position is Monday–Friday, day shift with 7 hours per day, no weekends or holidays, summers off.

You will oversee daily operations, prepare a variety of foods following NSLP guidelines, manage orders and inventory, assist with marketing promotions, support cash handling, ensure safety PPE usage, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen while securing qualified staff and substitutes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Duties To Include

• Managing the operation on a daily basis.
• Cooking - Food preparation, cooking a variety of foods, following recipes, portion control, production standards according to the NSLP guidelines.
• Ordering - Placing orders, inventory, assist in marketing promotions.
• POS/Register - Assist workers with cash collection, follow recording keeping procedures.
• Safety - Endure all personal protection equipment is in use at all times
• Cleanliness - maintain a clean and safe kitchen at all times.
• Staffing - secure food service workers, and substitutes.
