Job summary

Maschio's Food Service Inc. in Hamilton, NJ seeks an experienced School Food Service Kitchen Manager for a Monday–Friday day shift in the Hamilton area for the 2026/2027 school year. The role is a union position with summers off.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring NSLP guideline compliance, supervising serving and food preparation, upholding food safety and PPE standards, maintaining inventories and month-end paperwork, and managing kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen management is required.
• School food service experience is a plus.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Must be able to obtain proper documentation to work in schools.

• Observe that the quality, and food safety procedures are being followed at all times
• Observe that personal protection equipment (PPE) is in use at all times.
• Prepare inventories, and month end paperwork.
• Over see Kitchen staff, and staffing needs.
