Job summary

Maschio's Food Service Inc. is seeking a Food Service Cafe Manager for a school food service site in the Hampton, NJ area. The role is Monday through Friday, 4 hours per day, with no weekends or holidays and summers off.

The ideal candidate will have food service experience, preferably with K-12 settings, and the ability to obtain proper documentation to work in schools. Duties include daily operations, cooking, ordering, POS duties, and staffing.

Qualifications

• Food service experience required.
• K-12 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the cafe.
• Prepare and cook a variety of foods following recipes and NSLP guidelines.
• Place orders, manage inventory, assist in promotions.
• Operate POS/register, assist with cash handling and record keeping.
• Staffing: hire/secure food service workers and substitutes.

• POS/Register – assist workers with cash collection, follow record keeping procedures.
• Staffing – secure food service workers, and substitutes.
